Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains what information this website collects about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have kept it as plain as we can.
Who we are
This website is run by the Newcastle United Supporters Club (NUSC), Hartford Court, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE6 5BG. You can email us at darrencurry1@btinternet.com. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.
When you send us a message
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message. The message is stored on this website and emailed to us, so that we can read it and reply to you. We keep it until we delete it.
When you place an order
If you buy travel or membership through our basket, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and any notes you add. For travel, we also collect the full name and NUSC membership number of each passenger, because every passenger must be a current member. For membership, we collect the new member's full name. We use this to run your trip or your membership, to check passengers are members, and to get in touch with you about your order. Your order is stored on this website and emailed to us and to you, and we keep it until we delete it.
Card payments are taken by Stripe, on Stripe's own secure payment page. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us or this website. Stripe tells us whether the payment went through. You can read how Stripe handles your information in its own privacy policy on stripe.com.
Who looks after the website
This website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design Ltd. They process the information above on our behalf, only to run the website for us, and they deliver its emails.
Cookies
The website sets two cookies that every visitor needs: a session cookie, which lets the site remember things between pages (such as what is in your basket), and a security cookie, which protects the forms from being misused. Neither is used to track you.
We count visits to the website without cookies, so those counts do not identify you.
If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first, and nothing will be set until you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser so we do not keep asking.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. Just email us using the address above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
